Can I order a custom-size bench?
Absolutely! At MyCornerBench, custom sizing is our specialty. Every bench is crafted to your exact measurements, ensuring the perfect fit for your space and full functionality. Whether you're furnishing a dining nook, mudroom, or open kitchen, our custom corner benches are built to match your home’s dimensions and style.
How do I take measurements?
Each product page includes a short video guide that shows you how to measure your space step by step. All you need is a tape measure, a pencil, and paper. The process is simple and quick, even if you're doing it alone. And if you’re unsure, our team is happy to assist you before placing your order.
How do you confirm order details?
Once your order is placed, we’ll email you to confirm every detail — including dimensions, configurations, and customizations. Production starts only after you approve this summary. Please review it carefully, as we cannot be responsible for any errors once confirmed.
Where do you ship?
We offer free shipping across the continental United States. We currently do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
How is shipping handled?
Shipping is always free via FedEx Freight and includes delivery by appointment. Your custom bench arrives on a pallet and is delivered to your driveway or curbside depending on your property’s access. Please note that FedEx does not enter homes, go upstairs, or remove packaging or pallets.
What does "dispatched" mean?
““Dispatched” means your bench has been completed, packed, and picked up by FedEx from our workshop. We’ll email you tracking info, pallet photos, and delivery instructions. This is not the delivery day — FedEx will later call you directly to schedule your home delivery by appointment.
Can I choose the paint color or wood finish?
Yes! All benches come with white painted bases as standard. You can select a custom color for an extra fee. Tops can be stained or painted depending on your preference. We offer a variety of wood finish options to help you match your décor.
Do I need to assemble the bench?
No assembly is needed. Your custom bench is shipped fully built in sections that are simply placed together. If you chose a backrest or any other modification, it will come pre-installed.
What should I do when my bench arrives?
Before signing the delivery receipt, inspect the pallet carefully. If there are any visible damages (rips, dents, punctures), note them on the receipt and take clear photos. This is essential for any FedEx damage claims and helps us resolve issues quickly.
What kind of warranty do you offer?
We provide a limited lifetime warranty on all functional hardware (hinges, soft-close slides). As our benches are made from real wood and cabinet-grade plywood, natural variations (like minor gaps or wood movement) may occur due to humidity and temperature changes — these are normal and not considered defects.
Can I cancel or return my order?
Because every bench is made to order, we do not accept returns. You can cancel your order without penalty until the end of the next business day. Cancellations made within 48 hours are subject to a 30% fee. After 48 hours, cancellations and refunds are not possible, as production has already begun.
What is the production and delivery timeline?
Our typical production time is 4–6 weeks, depending on current workload and customizations. Once your bench is complete, we dispatch it via FedEx Freight, and delivery usually occurs within 3–7 business days depending on your location.
