Returns/Exchanges

Due to the custom-made nature of our products, we do not accept returns or refunds for any reason other than verified manufacturing errors.

Manufacturing Errors: Exchanges are accepted only if a proven manufacturing error is verified by MyCornerBench. We are not responsible for damage caused by shipping, packaging, installation, or customer-provided measurements.

Damaged Orders

All shipments are insured. We encourage our clients to open and inspect shipments upon arrival. Please inspect your shipment upon delivery and follow the mandatory QR verification process to document condition. Any damage from shipping, including concealed damage, must be reported to MyCornerBench via email within 24 hours of receiving your product for a shipping claim to be processed. If your shipment arrives damaged, you are required to sign noting that it is damaged, complete the QR verification, and notify MyCornerBench within 24 hours. If we are not notified within 24 hours, we will not be liable for the damage claim. Damaged product claims are processed with the carrier: for FedEx Ground shipments at https://www.fedex.com/en-us/customer-support/claims.html and for FedEx Freight shipments at https://www.fedexfreight.com/en-us/manage-account/claims

Ownership Transfer & Carrier Liability: Risk of loss transfers to FedEx upon shipment. MyCornerBench assists with claims but cannot be held liable for carrier-related damage once the product leaves our facility.

Mandatory QR Reception Process (Before Signing Delivery)

All shipments include a unique QR code that must be scanned immediately upon FedEx delivery before signing. The QR opens a form to document the pallet and product condition. Upload photos and confirm delivery status before the driver departs. This record ensures full FedEx insurance coverage.

Failure to complete this step may void your right to file a claim or request replacement.

Product Substitution

In the event that a specific component or material is no longer available, MyCornerBench reserves the right to substitute it with a comparable product in quality, style and color.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

All products are for interior use only. Exterior exposure voids warranty. The limited lifetime warranty covers hardware and functional components (hinges, slides, handles). It excludes finishes, discoloration, and wear from misuse, moisture, or climate changes.

Improper Use Disclaimer: Warranty is void if the product is modified, installed incorrectly, relocated, or used in exterior environments. MyCornerBench is not responsible for damages caused by improper installation or misuse.

Third-Party Installation Disclaimer: MyCornerBench is not responsible for any damage, defect, or malfunction resulting from installation, modification, or assembly performed by third parties or individuals not authorized by MyCornerBench. Any such action voids the product warranty. Customers are advised to ensure proper installation according to the instructions provided on our website.

MyCornerBench's warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective component, at our discretion. Under no circumstances will MyCornerBench be responsible for consequential or incidental damages, including labor, installation, or transportation costs.
