Packing and Shipping
How is my custom bench shipped?
All of our benches are professionally packaged on sturdy pallets to ensure they arrive at your doorstep in excellent condition. Due to FedEx Freight shipping restrictions, no individual section of a bench can exceed 90 inches in length. For this reason, longer benches are carefully built in multiple sections based on your final dimensions. For example, a 120” bench will arrive in two 60” sections, and a 210” bench will arrive in three 70” sections — always ensuring that no single part exceeds the 90” limit.
The only step upon delivery is to remove the pieces from the pallet, bring them inside, and connect them using the four included screws. No tools, no assembly, and no complicated instructions — just a simple, secure connection that takes minutes.
Which shipping carrier do you use?
We work with FedEx Freight for large items and FedEx Ground for smaller orders under 48". Both options include tracking and scheduled delivery. You’ll receive updates and can choose the best time for delivery based on your availability.
What should I expect from the delivery process?
FedEx Freight will deliver your order curbside or to your driveway, depending on access. Please note that FedEx does not enter homes, climb stairs, or remove packaging materials. We recommend having at least two people available to receive the pallet and bring it inside.
How can I prepare for delivery?
Make sure someone is available to receive the pallet on the scheduled date. If access to your property is restricted (gates, tight roads, long driveways), inform the FedEx driver directly when they call to schedule the delivery appointment.
What happens with small orders?
For orders under 48", we use FedEx Ground and build a small custom wooden crate. This also includes scheduled delivery by appointment and full tracking.
Does the bench require assembly?
If your order includes more than one piece, we provide all the hardware needed to anchor the components together. The process is simple and straightforward — no need for professional tools or complicated assembly steps.
Do you ship internationally or to Hawaii/Alaska?
At this time, we only ship within the continental United States. We do not deliver to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or outside the U.S.
If damage is found, take clear photos and write a note on the delivery receipt. This ensures we can file a FedEx claim and support you promptly if needed.
